Import Business
We have imported approx. 180,380 M.Ton & 11,328 M.Ton DAP fertilizers in 2008-2009 & 2009-2010 respectively. Now according to market report, there is an estimated gap of 400,000 MT between demand & supply of DAP in the local market. Therefore, we have planned to import 100,000 M.T DAP up to US $ 63 million to meet local shortage.
Keeping in view the above market demand, we have decided to further import the Phosphatic fertilizer due to the increasing demand for Phosphatic fertilizers and surging prices of DAP in the international market.
