Management Team of Fatima Fertilizer

The key management directly responsible for managing the day-to-day operations (and profitability) of Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited include the following:

	Arif-ur-Rehman Director Operations Mr. Arif-ur-Rehman is a chemical engineer and has over 26 years of experience in the fertilizer and petrochemical industries. He has been a part of number of successful projects from construction to commissioning. These include Fauji Fertilizer Company, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim and ICI (PTA Plant). He also worked on various foreign assignments.
	Muhammad Zahir Director Marketing Mr. Muhammad Zahir holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. He spent 29 years with ICI Pakistan working in its various businesses. He served as an Executive Director on the Board of ICI Pakistan. He has diverse experience in paints, polyester fiber, chemicals, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, seeds and animal health.
	Muhammad Abdul Wahab Chief Financial Officer Mr. Muhammad Abdul Wahab has over 25 years national & international experience in banking, oil & gas, manufacturing, retail, automobile and aviation industries. Prior to joining Fatima Group, he worked in NDFC, Mari Gas, Berger Paints, BMW Group, Canada and National Air Services, Saudi Arabia and held various senior management positions in the areas of finance, strategic business planning, risk management and corporate compliance. He is a Chartered Accountant from Pakistan and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountant of USA.
	Ausaf A. Qureshi Company Secretary Mr. Ausaf Qureshi is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has over 27 years of experience with Fauji Fertilizers, Pakistan International Airlines Holdings and Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS). In his 20 years at BMS, he held various senior management positions in Pakistan, South Korea, Egypt and Singapore in the areas of finance, corporate compliance and strategic project planning.
	Asad Murad Head of Internal Audit Mr. Asad Murad is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan He has 12 years of experience of handling finance and business planning functions with Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited, a subsidiary of Honda Motor Company, Japan.
	Shahid Saeed Head of Information Technology Shahid Saeed holds a Masters degree in Information Technology, from the UK. He has more than 25 years of national and international experience in the financial, telecom and utility sectors. He has managed several major projects in the financial and telecom domains. Mr. Saeed has held senior positions for more than 10 years during which he has managed an offshore IT unit of a major European Bank, implemented business enterprise systems, launched a major telecom company as part of the original core team and implemented high available technical infrastructures.
	Javed Akbar Head of Procurement Mr. Javed Akber is a Mechanical Engineer from NED university of Engineering and Technology Karachi, and also did his graduation in computer science from university of Mississippi, USA. He brings with him an experience of around 25 years, out of which more than 15 years is in the area of supply chain with multinational companies in Pakistan including Philips, Alcatel, Mobilink and PTCL. He has attended International Training Course on management and leadership from world renowned institutions like Insead, Harvard and MIT. Mr. Akbar is registered as Professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council. He is also a member of Institute of Engineers, Pakistan.
	Haroon Waheed Head of Human Resource Mr. Haroon has done his LL.M from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He has 20+ years of national & international broad based functional business experience with Unilever and has been associated with Pakistan Society of HR Management as President. In addition to representation in the HR & Management Development conferences at the National Level, Hr. Haroon has won the International best HR Leadership award in 2010.
	Brig (R) Syed Nazarat Bashir General Manager Administrative Services Brigadier Syed Nazarat Bashir (R) holds a Masters degree in War Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. He has over 29 years of experience of serving on various command, administrative and security appointments. He is a Special Forces officer who has also attended advance courses in USA and Turkey and has represented Pakistan Army on multiple foreign assignments.
